Here Be Dragons are a Welsh Celtic band renowned for their dynamic, high-impact live performances and extensive international touring career. With eight studio albums released — Alcohol & Rain, Celtic Bonding, Bright New Tomorrow, Gargling With Brains, The Year Of The Dragon, Gwlad!, Lockdown Dragons, and Home Ground — the band have established a deep and varied catalogue that spans traditional influences and contemporary folk energy.

Their live reputation is central to their identity. Here Be Dragons have performed to thousands of audiences across Europe and the United States, with their largest crowd to date reaching 30,000 in Bologna. Their festival history includes appearances at Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau and Pontardawe Festivals (Wales), Chicago Celtic Festival (USA), Dunedin Festival (USA), Leamington Peace Festival and Broadstairs Folk Week (England), Goats Du Large (France), Party in Chateaux d’Oex (Switzerland), Utrecht Celtic Festival (Holland), and major festivals in Bologna and Milan (Italy), among many others.

The band have also appeared on television in Wales, the USA, and internationally on cable networks, with radio play across Europe, Australia, and the United States. Their music has been featured widely, supporting leading acts in the Celtic and world music scene including The Young Dubliners, Oysterband, Flook, Carlos Núñez, and The Modena City Ramblers.

Collaborations have further strengthened their European ties, including performances with Cisco and Alberto Cottica of The Modena City Ramblers, with Cottica also recording with the band. Their Welsh-language work has also reached international recognition, including covers by Italian band The Mocogno Rovers.

A standout moment in their digital presence includes their video Lawr Ar Lan Y Môr, which has surpassed 80,000 views on YouTube.

The band continue to evolve, with their upcoming album Terra Nova currently in production and set for release later this year, marking a new chapter in their long-standing career.
